2011年起对长泰县大田和大棚栽种的莲雾生长发育时期检测观察可知，长泰县整体的气候环境很适合莲雾栽种，但在栽种过程中要重点关注由于冬季温度过低时造成的冻害、暴雨、花期阴雨低温天气对于莲雾的影响。莲雾生产过程中应该实施相应的防御措施对影响莲雾生产的各种不利因素进行调节，降低由于灾害天气对莲雾的干扰，减少损失，保证莲雾出产的品质和数量。

Looking through the observation on the growth of wax apple cultivated both in field and in greenhouses in Changtai Country since 2011, it can be concluded that the general climatic condition of Changtai Country is adaptive to the growth of wax apple, but in the process of cultivation, great attention shall be paid to the freezing damage,heavy rain damage resulted from the low temperature and chilling weather during flowering stage in winter,which would impact the growth of wax apple. In the process of cultivating wax-apple ,it is imperative to adopt corresponding defensive measures to adjust and control various unfavorable factors influencing the production of wax-apple , so as to reduce interference resulted from disaster weather and reduce the loss as well ,and ensure quality and quantity of wax apple.
