对广西木论国家级自然保护区及周边社区的气候、土壤、水文地质等自然环境特征进行了阐述，分析了保护区周边社区种植中药材的意义及存在的问题。对木论保护区及其周边社区适生中药材进行统计，选择典型中药材，对其生长习性、经济价值、生态效益以及种植可行性进行分析，为保护区周边社区适宜种植中药材品种提出建议：铁皮石斛、八角茴香、海芋、金银花等既能够带来经济效益，又有助于水土保持，是能带来生态效益的中药材品种，建议推广种植；山豆根、金果榄等中药材，虽然具有较高药用价值，但其药用部位主要为根部，大量种植和采挖不利于水土保持，这类药材可以根据市场需求少量种植但不予推广。

The characteristics of climate,soil,hydrogeology and other natural conditions in Mulun National Na-ture Reserve in Guangxi and its surrounding community are narrated.The significance,status and problems in Chinese medical herbs planting in the reserve surrounding community are analyzed.The suitable Chinese medi-cal herbs in the reserve and the surrounding community are investigated.Typical species growth habit,econom-ic value,ecological benefit and feasibility for planting in the surrounding community of the reserve are analyzed. Suggestions of planting medical herbs are given for the surrounding community.Firstly,species,such as Den-drobium officinale Kimura et Migo,Illicium verum Hook.f.,Alocasia odora(Roxb.)K.Koch and Lonicera ja-ponica Thunb.are good choices for the community because they can not only bring economic benefits,but also contribute to soil and water conservation and improve the ecological environment.Secondly,other medical herbs species,such as Euchresta japonica Hook.f.ex Regel and Tinospora sagittata(Oliv.)Gagnep.,can be planted based on market demand,not in large area.Although they are of high medicinal value,the medical parts,are roots,they are not good for ecological environment because of roots digging.
