In this article, the features of temperature monitoring system and leakage monitoring system in magnetic driven pump as well as other various monitoring systems were introduced. The design principle and kinds of secondary protection system which is initiated once the separating jacket in magnetic driven pump ruptures were described. The cons and pros for various protection structures were also demonstrated with the comparison. It was shown that the monitoring system and secondary protection system in magnetic driven pump can more effectively assure the safe operation of the pump.
