The apptication of waterborne polyurethane(WPU)coatings was introduced, including car, ship, container, aircraft, plastics, leather and so on. In recent years, progress of modification technology of waterborne polyurethane was reviewed, such as crosslinking modification and composite modification, etc. The use of the WPU coatings became more widely in industry by these modifications.
