通过考虑能隙的尺寸效应,建立了纳米材料体等离子能的尺寸和维度效应模型。该模型无任何可调参数,并且可以预测纳米材料的体等离子能随尺寸和维度的变化规律。模型预测结果表明,体等离子能随着材料尺寸的减小而增大,而且相同尺寸的纳米材料由于表面体积比的不同,纳米线的增大趋势强于纳米薄膜而弱于纳米粒子。模型预测结果与实验结果的一致性表明模型的有效性,并证实了体等离子能的增大起源于能隙的增大。
通過攷慮能隙的呎吋效應,建立瞭納米材料體等離子能的呎吋和維度效應模型。該模型無任何可調參數,併且可以預測納米材料的體等離子能隨呎吋和維度的變化規律。模型預測結果錶明,體等離子能隨著材料呎吋的減小而增大,而且相同呎吋的納米材料由于錶麵體積比的不同,納米線的增大趨勢彊于納米薄膜而弱于納米粒子。模型預測結果與實驗結果的一緻性錶明模型的有效性,併證實瞭體等離子能的增大起源于能隙的增大。

Size and dimension effect on volume plasmon energy of nanocrystals was investigated,in which the band-gap expansion was considered. The model can be utilized to predict volume plasmon energy for low dimensional materials and is free from arbitrarily adjustable parameters. It predicts that volume plasmon energy increases with decreasing size and the increasing trend of nanowires is weaker than nanoparticles and stronger than thin films due to the different surface/volume ratios. The predicted results are consistent with the experimental evidences and the consistency confirms that the increasing of volume plasmon energy originates from the band-gap expansion.
