为解决寺河煤矿二号井9#煤层邻近层瓦斯大的问题，通过分源分析法分析9#煤层瓦斯来源，并制定了详细的抽采设计，主要手段为瓦斯顶板千米定向钻孔布置以及本煤层顺层钻孔布置。实践证明，通过两种钻孔的布置，有效解决了9#煤层瓦斯超限的问题，为工作区域职工安全提供保障，同时为类似条件下的矿井瓦斯抽采提供参考。
