阐述了地方院校体育教育办学特色，分析了办学发展中所面临的压力和困境，探讨了地方高校体育教育办学特色的途径，提出了地方高校体育教育要形成自己的办学特色，就必须在办学中体现出地域特点突出特色，在专业学科上紧密结合本地方民俗体育文化，民族传统体育活动并与地方所需体育师资紧密结合创造特色，并在质量上强化特色。以特色求发展，用特色来获得立足点和发展空间，走特色化的办学道路争创优势，营造出地方院校体育教育雄厚的竞争力和坚强的生命力。

This paper elaborates the local colleges and universities sports education characteristics, analyzes the pressure and trouble facing in the school developing, probes into some paths for forming local colleges and universities sports education characteristics. It is put forward that to form their own characteristics of local colleges and universities sports education, have to reflect regional characteristics of the prominent features in the school, the professional disciplines closely combine with the local folk sports culture, national traditional sports and closely integrate with local sports teachers needed and create characteristic, and to strengthen the characteristic in quality.
