Pole and tower erection is one of the three major projects in the construction of transmission lines. The article analyzed and summarized the types of pole and tower erection, and mainly elaborated the erection of outside guyed pole by using specific examples, the research showed that power tower is a general method for the erection of outside guyed pole, it has the advantages of high efficiency and low cost.
