目前，高校思想政治教育专业课程设置局限于单一的培养目标，口径较窄；课程设置的观念重理论轻实践；课程设置的结构重基础专业理论轻教育理论；课程设置的内容重学科专业知识轻文化基础。高校思想政治教育专业的课程设置应厚基础、宽口径；强化实践课程的设置，重视学生综合实践能力的培养；增加教育理论课的比重，满足基础教育课程改革的需求；加大公共基础教育选修课的比例，增强通识教育的力度。
目前，高校思想政治教育專業課程設置跼限于單一的培養目標，口徑較窄；課程設置的觀唸重理論輕實踐；課程設置的結構重基礎專業理論輕教育理論；課程設置的內容重學科專業知識輕文化基礎。高校思想政治教育專業的課程設置應厚基礎、寬口徑；彊化實踐課程的設置，重視學生綜閤實踐能力的培養；增加教育理論課的比重，滿足基礎教育課程改革的需求；加大公共基礎教育選脩課的比例，增彊通識教育的力度。

The of curriculum of Ideological and political education is limited to single training objective and caliber is narrow. The structure of curriculum gives priority to based professional theories and minor attention to educational theories. The content of curriculum gives priority to academic knowledge and minor attention to culture curriculum. The curriculum of ideological and political education in colleges and universities should Thick foundation and wide caliber; strengthen practice and pay more attention to the training of students' comprehensive practical ability;increase the proportion of education theory and meet the needs of basic education curriculum reform;strengthen the proportion of the public basic education elective courses and enhance the strength of general education.
