以含Ni1.93%、Fe14.25%的红土镍矿为对象,分别采用A、B两种烟煤作为还原剂,研究了焙砂的主要矿物组成和不同烟煤粒度对镍矿预还原的影响。结果表明:焙砂中大多数镍铁合金呈分散状态,晶粒细小,铁氧化物呈星点状弥散状态。对于挥发分较低的烟煤,粒度越小,气化速度越快,越有利于镍矿的预还原;但对于挥发分较高的烟煤,适当增加大粒度的比例可以提高挥发分挥发的温度,充分利用挥发分促进镍矿的预还原。

The experiment was done with nickel laterite of 1.93% Ni and 14.25% Fe as sample and two different types of bitumite of A and B as the reductant.The major mineral composition of calcine and the influence of different bitumite particle size on reduction of nickel laterite were studied. The result showed that most of nickel-iron was in decentralized state and the grain size was relatively small. Besides, the distribution of iron oxide was star-shaped. For low volatile bitu-mite, the smaller the particle size is, the faster the gasification is, which is conducive to the pre-reduction of nickel ore. But for a high volatile bitumite, increasing the proportion of large-grained bituminous coal can raise the volatilization temperature of the volatile and the released volatile is fully utilized to promote the pre-reduction of nickel ore.
