Ouyang Yu, an Australian-Chinese writer, conducted an interview in English with Wenche Ommundsen on 7 October 2014, which was translated into Chinese by Cui Yuwei. Wenche is currently a professor of English at the university of Wol-longong, Australia. As a promoter of and expert on Chinese-Australian writings, Wenche briefly describes her research into the Chinese-Australian writings and introduces the history and development of outstanding Chinese-Australian writers and writings along with their predicaments, current state and future prospects.
