现代职业教育包括三个最基本的内涵：一是为经济社会发展服务，二是建立多层次的人才发展通道，三是体现终身学习的理念。现代职业教育体系中高职教育发展路径，应坚持培养高素质技术技能型人才的定位，强化高职教育人才培养特色，强化为社区教育和终身学习服务的功能，提升高职院校的现代治理能力。
現代職業教育包括三箇最基本的內涵：一是為經濟社會髮展服務，二是建立多層次的人纔髮展通道，三是體現終身學習的理唸。現代職業教育體繫中高職教育髮展路徑，應堅持培養高素質技術技能型人纔的定位，彊化高職教育人纔培養特色，彊化為社區教育和終身學習服務的功能，提升高職院校的現代治理能力。
현대직업교육포괄삼개최기본적내함：일시위경제사회발전복무，이시건립다층차적인재발전통도，삼시체현종신학습적이념。현대직업교육체계중고직교육발전로경，응견지배양고소질기술기능형인재적정위，강화고직교육인재배양특색，강화위사구교육화종신학습복무적공능，제승고직원교적현대치리능력。
The modern vocational education includes three basic connotations: to serve the development of economy and society, to build a multi-level way of talent development, and to embody the concept of lifelong learning. The developing path of higher vocational education under the modern vocational education system should stick to the definition of cultivating high-quality technical talents, strengthening characteristics of talent cultivation, the serving function of community education and lifelong learning, as well as enhancing the ability of modern governance in higher vocational colleges.
