This paper presents the development process and features of the new WHG Gasification Process and expounds the composition of syngas produced by the WHG with water or steam quenching, and the differences with similar and other gasification processes. This paper also analyzes the prob-lems occurred during the commissioning, provides solutions and looks into the future of WHG.
