The safe and rapid construction technology of 1 000m deep shaft of SK lead and zime mine in Hindustan Zinc was introduced.The shaft had a net diameter of 7.5m and a depth of 1 051.5m ,which is the deepest vertical shaft of mining industry in India.In order to overcome problems of high tempe-rature in underground and hard rock blasting ,the advanced construction equipments were adopted , the construction method of scientific and reasonable as well as a series of measure of safety and tech‐nology were applied.The highest month shaft completed was 150.8m.All of these ensure reach the goal of safety ,excellent and rapid excavation ,w hich reflects China’s mine construction technological level fully.
