技术创新是决定我国物联网产业规模的重要因素。本文采用门槛模型对2008－2013年166家物联网相关上市公司的数据进行实证分析，发现技术创新与物联网产业的用户基础规模之间存在非线性关系，且在不同产业链环节中呈现出不同的特征：物联网感知层呈阶梯式转变特征，网络数据层呈单一门槛效应特征，而应用服务层则反映出长效机制特征。目前，我国的大部分企业未达到最优研发投入强度区间，只有将技术投入与物联网产业链环节需求特征有机结合起来，才能跨越技术投入的临界阀值和发挥用户基础的累积循环效应。

Technology innovation is an important factor affecting the scale of user base of Internet of Things ( IoT) .This paper employs panel threshold regression to study the nonlinear effect of R&D intensity on install user base of IoT indus -try by the panel data from 166 listed IoT corporations in China from 2008 to 2013 .It comes to the conclusion as follows:there is threshold effect between R&D intensity and install user base of IoT industry , and the application service layer shows the characteristics of long -term mechanism in technological innovation .So far, most of the IoT companies in Chi-na have not reached the optimal R&D intensity interval .Only combining technology input with demand characteristics of IoT, can we get to critical mass point , and play cycle cumulative effect .
