Glycerol phosphate choline can reduce the high blood cholesterol,improve memory and cognitive ability of the elder,have the treatment of Alzheimer's disease,and repair the utility of brain damage,which acquire the scientific community concern. So glycerophosphorylcholine has been studied widely. The biological significance,research status,preparation and purification technology of glycerol phosphate choline were summarized,and it provided the strong basis for industrial production of glycerol phosphate choline.
