情志理论是中医学的重要组成部分，在病因、病机、治疗、预防和护理中扮演了重要角色。情志相胜疗法是指在中医阴阳五行学说理论指导下治疗情志所引起的某些心身疾病的一种心理疗法，是情志理论的核心内容。本文梳理情志相胜疗法的历史源流，阐释其内在机制，综述临床与基础研究进展，比较与主流西方心理学疗法的异同，以期从多角度论述情志疗法，发挥优势，为临床应用提供理论基础，促进情志疗法的推广和应用。

E m otion-w ill theory is a significant part in traditional C hinese m edicine,w hich plays an essential role in the pathogenesis,progress,treatm ent,prevention and nursing of alm ost all diseases.T he em otion inter-resistance is a psychotherapy to treat som e m ind and body diseases caused by em otions on the basis of the theories of yin-yang and thefiveelementsintraditionalChinesemedicine,whichisthecorecontentofemotion-willtheory.Thisessaycovers the origin and developm ent of em otion inter-resistance therapy,elaborates the internal m echanism ,sum m arizes the clini-cal and fundam ental research progress,com pares the sim ilarities and differences from m ainstream W estern psychology, for the purpose of expounding em otion-w ill theory m ulti-dim ensionally so as to fully exploit the advantages,provide fundam ental basis for clinical application,and accelerate the prom otion and application of em otion-w ill theory.
