烟幕是北方地区常见的一种天气现象,冬季经常出现,近几年由于空气污染加剧,霾的出现逐年增加,烟幕和霾都会影响能见度和日照时数,2014年1月1日地面气象观测业务调整后,取消了烟幕现象的记录,测站出现烟幕现象,能见到小于10千米时,相对湿度又小,未出现霾,只能记录霾,本文从这两种天气现象的成因和特征、以及区别上分析得出,应恢复烟幕现象的记录。
