分析了《狼图腾》英译版中译者采用的文化翻译策略，并指出受译者的翻译目的、读者的审美期待与接受能力及译文可读性的影响，该部译作的翻译策略是以异化为主、归化为辅。同时进一步指出，随着中英两种文化接触的日益频繁，以源语为归宿的异化策略会越来越被广泛地使用。

The cultural translation strategies in the English version of Wolf Totem was analyzed .It proposes that the translator's purpose of translation ,the expectations and acceptance ability of TLT readers and the readability of TLT determine that the translator takes foreignization as the principal strategy and domesti‐cation as a supplementary strategy .And it further points out that with the increasing communication be‐tween Chinese and English cultures ,the source language culture‐oriented translation strategy will be more widely used .
