中西方高等教育均已步入“人文·科学”的新阶段。涂又光先生提出了“文明的特色在于人文而非科学”、“人文为科学启示方向”的观点,揭示了人文与科学之间的区别和内在联系。当前,大学普遍存在重科学、轻人文和重科研、轻应用的现状,阻碍了大学特色发展的实现路径。涂又光先生“人文·科学”的思想,启示我们大学应该加强人文教育,培育大学特色发展根基;强化科研成果应用,拓展大学特色发展路径。

Higher Education in the West have entered the new stage of"humanities science".Mr.Tu presented two views that"humanity is not science,science is not humane"and"humane direction for scien-tific revelation".That reveals the differences and the intrinsic link between the humanity and science.Cur-rently,the university of widespread heavy science,humanities and light weight of scientific research,light application status,and deprived the foundation characteristics of the development of the university,the u-niversity of characteristics impede the realization path of development.Path to strengthen the application of scientific research to expand the development of the University of characteristics.Mr.Tu's"humanities science"tells us that universities should strengthen the university humanities education,fostering the de-velopment of the foundation of the University Feature.
