针对艺术类学生英语水平低，教学难度大的事实，本研究以多元智能理论为基础探索隐性分层教学对艺术专业学生大学英语学习的影响。实验证明该教学模式比传统教学法能更有效促进学生成绩的提高，也能提高他们的学习兴趣和自信心。

Aimed at the fact of the low English proficiency level and the teaching difficulty for art majors ,the empiri‐cal research finds that the covertly stratified college English teaching based on MI theory can not only improve art majors’ English achievements more effectively than traditional teaching methods ,but also enhance their learning interest and self‐confidence in English .
