作为近年来发展起来的新晶体,LaBr3：Ce 有着很高的发光产额(~60000 p·MeV-1)和较快的发光衰减时间常数(~16 ns),因而成为研究热点.国内对 LaBr3：Ce 晶体的研究生产时间不长,仅有少数几家单位具备生产研究条件.本工作采用北京华凯龙电子有限公司生产的 LaBr3：Ce 晶体(晶体尺寸为?30 mm×20 mm),配合 XP20D0光电倍增管,采用单光电子方法测量得到其光电子产额为16800 pe·MeV-1；测量了其发光衰减曲线,计算得到其上升时间为5.6 ns,发光衰减时间常数为21 ns；其对137 Cs 的能量分辨率为3.3%；采用两块?30 mm×20 mm 的 LaBr3：Ce 晶体与两只XP20D0光电倍增管,测量得到对22 Na的符合时间分辨率为191 ps；这些表征为国产 LaBr3：Ce 晶体的γ谱仪研究提供了重要参考.

LaBr3 :Ce is a new scintillator crystal,which draws lots of interest recently due to its high light yield (60 000 p·MeV-1 )and short decay time constant (~1 6 ns).In this work,the ?30 mm×20 mm LaBr3 :Ce scintillator produced at Beijing Huakallong Electronics Co.Ltd.,was used to coupled to a XP20D0 PMT. The light yield and the light decay curve were measured by the photon-electron method.The light yield is 1 6 800 pe·MeV-1 and the decay constant is 21 ns respectively.The energy resolution for 1 3 7 Cs source is 3.3%. Two bulks of ? 30 mm × 20 mm LaBr3 :Ce scintillator crystals and two XP20D0 PMTs were deployed to assemble a time spectrometer.The time resolution FHWM=1 91 ps was got for 22 Na source.This report on characterization of the domestic LaBr3 :Ce scintillator crystal could be helpful for studying gamma spectrometers.
