运用文献资料法和实地调查法，对休闲环境下大众武术发展的现状以及存在问题进行了梳理，经过分析认为，几十年来大众武术的发展一直处于停滞或缓慢发展状态。大众武术的发展需从提高大众的体育休闲意识、改变教育系统中武术的教学内容和创编简单易学的法中武术套路、建立合适的运作模式和协作机制四方面入手，才能有效的发展大众武术。
