北宋时期的编校活动主要是在官方的组织下进行的，因而成果丰硕。编校人员对典籍进行反复编校，不厌其烦，以至于形成了三校、他校、对校等一系列的编校制度。官方主导的编校活动，为其后来走向民间奠定了基础。

북송시기적편교활동주요시재관방적조직하진행적，인이성과봉석。편교인원대전적진행반복편교，불염기번，이지우형성료삼교、타교、대교등일계렬적편교제도。관방주도적편교활동，위기후래주향민간전정료기출。
Book editing and proofreading in the Northern Song Dynasty were mainly conducted under governmentor-ganization,which had brought forth fruitful results. During the time,the editors did not mind taking the trouble of editing and proofreading the ancient books repetitively,and established a series of editorial regulations such as proofreading for three times,by other people and in comparison. The government-led editing and proofreading activities laid the founda-tion for the later non-government transition of such activities.
