Wudongde Hydropower Project is a super large one on the main stream of the Yangtze River.Its safety during the flood season is very crucial.The construction period of the diversion tunnel on right bank is very short.Through careful study and in combination of site test, the cofferdam is completely built with rockfill concrete, which largely shortens the construction period and reduce the cost.The placement of the rockfill concrete fully satisfied design requirements.
