According to the common phenomenon that the output voltage formula of variable gap type, differential transformer type sensor was directly given in most sensor books, the output-voltage formula was deduced in detail in this paper according to the structure diagram and equivalent circuit diagram of variable gap type, differential transformer type sensor. The derivation process of the formula is tight, and the result is correct, so it can effectively assist in teachers' teaching and students' understanding. At the same time, the process of derivation enriches the related contents of output voltage formula of variable gap type, differential transformer type sensor;and improves the derivation process of its output-characteristics formula and the sensitivity formula, makes the teaching content of "sensor and detection technology"course more rich, rigorous.
