亳州历史遗存丰富，但是由于建市较晚、且经济不发达等因素，对于地域文化（亳文化）的研究、传播还处于起步阶段，地方文化的影响力很有限。提升“亳文化”的影响力，可以从树立学术研究的权威性、推出文化交流品牌和整合开发文化旅游资源等方面着手。
