结核病仍然困扰着人类健康，我国是22个结核病高负担国家之一，早期正确的诊断以及及时有效的治疗对于控制我国结核病流行是必不可少的。传统的结核病实验室诊断方法都存在着许多不足，新的诊断方法由于没有良好的生物标志物而受到了限制。国内外许多研究表明，白细胞介素6（IL-6）在结核病中具有潜在的诊断价值。在此就IL-6与结核分枝杆菌感染和诊断的研究进展做一综述。

Tuberculosis(TB) remains global threat to human health. China is one of the 22 high TB burden countries. Early diagnosis and proper treatment are critical in the control of Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection. The traditional laboratory diagnosis method of TB has many shortcomings, and no excellent biomarkers were found and verified, which hampers attempts to develop new tests. Many studies indicate that interleukin 6(IL-6) has a potential value in the diagnosis of TB, the present article maked a summary on the research progress of IL-6 in M.tuberculosis infection and diagnosis.
