金融问题在近代以来日益成为影响中国经济的重要因素，这种影响是连续的又是断裂的。中国的现代金融体系正是在历史的断裂与延续中发展演变而来。从纵向时间角度看，中国金融业始终是以“发展”为思想导向的，贯穿着“自由市场”与“政府垄断”两种意识的对立和调整；从横向领域看，民国时期的金融思想已经触及现代金融的各个枝蔓，不仅起到了思想启蒙的作用，也在很多领域树立了现代金融模式的标杆。

The financial problems in modern times increasingly became the important factors that affect China's economy. China's modern financial system develops from fracture and continuance development of the history. From longitudinal time perspective, China's financial sector always oriented with the thought of "development", run through the opposition and adjustment of two kinds of consciousness of "free market" and "government monopoly". From the transverse field, during the period of the republic of China, financial thoughts have been touched the various branches of modern finance, not only have the enlightenment effect, but also set up the modern financial model in many areas.
