This paper introduces the design method of general arrangement for DP Vessels, and presents corresponding general arrangement requirements and design points with consideration of each component system and equipment through analytical summarization and categorized conclusion. It also analyzes the general arrangement of several typical DP vessels, including common semi-submersible unit, crane/pipe-laying vessels, and drilling vessels, thus providing references for the design of similar vessels.
