Notch信号通路几乎参与多细胞机体的所有生物学过程，包括细胞增殖、凋亡、侵袭和转移以及血管发生。近年来，Notch信号在血管发生中的作用逐渐得到广泛的认识，其在胚胎、视网膜血管疾病、动静脉畸形、缺血性疾病和肿瘤等多方面的血管发生中均发挥关键性作用，但Notch信号的具体作用机制比较复杂，目前还不是很明确。因此，深入了解Notch信号在血管发生中的作用及其作用机制将为临床多种疾病的治疗提供一定的理论依据。

Notch signaling pathway involved in almost all biological processes in multicellular organism , including cell proliferation,apoptosis,invasion,metastasis and angiogenesis.In recent years,the role of Notch signaling in angiogenesis has gradually been recognized widely .Notch signaling has a key role in angiogenesis of embryonic and retina vascular diseases,arteriovenous malformation,ischemic diseases and tumor,but the specific mechanism of Notch signaling are relatively complex and not clear by now .Therefore,further under-standing of the effect and mechanism of Notch signaling will provide a theoretical basis for many clinical dis-eases.
