工学结合只有落实到课程中才能实现预期目的。为此，需要针对合作企业的生产实际，对课程进行重新设计，使课程内容及其编排符合认知规律和职业成长规律。工学结合课程开发的难点是如何能在不影响合作企业生产的前提下，保证课程目标的实现。湖北职业技术学院“数控铣削编程与加工”课程采用“三段嵌套式”课程教学模式和过程性课程评价方法，促进了学生职业能力的提升。
