利用2001-2013年乌鲁木齐市空气质量指数(air quality index,AQI)数据和气象资料数据,研究了13a来该市空气质量特征与气象要素之间的关系。结果显示,乌鲁木齐市年平均AQI指数在2001-2010年之间从139降到了95,而在2010-2013年之间从95上升到了150;另外,空气质量优良天数(AQI≤100)从2001年的149d上升到了2013年的304d,而污染天气(100<AQI≤500)数量从216d下降到了61d,说明污染日的污染程度有加重趋势。在高气压、高相对湿度、低风速和低水汽压条件下易出现严重污染天气,冬季尤为明显。该市13a来主要盛行西北风、北风、东北风和西南风;其中,春季、夏季和秋季气流整体上是由北往南移动,而冬季从东北、西南和北方向往市区内流动,造成冬季污染严重;东南风带来沙尘天气使得春季空气质量变差;冬季盛行西北偏西风时空气质量较好。

This paper has researched characteristics of the air quality index (AQI), and correlations between the AQI and ground meteorological factors in Urumqi from 2001 to 2013. The results of this paper shows as follow:The AQI reduced from 139 to 95 during the period of 2001 to 2010, and increased from 95 to 150 during the period of 2010 to 2013. In addition, the amount of non-pollution day (AQI≤100) increased from 149 to 304, and the amount of pollution day (100<AQI≤500) reduced from 216 to 61 during the period of 2001 to 2013. This situation above shows that the level of pollution days are becoming worse. It's easy to shape serious pollution in situation like high air pressure, high relative humidity, low wind speed and low vapor pressure, and its more obvious in winter. The predominant wind direction in 13 years in Urumqi is northwest, north, northeast and southwest. In spring, summer and autumn the air flow is moved from north to south, but in winter the air flow is converged from northeast, southwest and north, and caused serious pollution. Dust weather make the pollution becoming worse in spring when the wind direction is southeast. And when the wind direction is northeast it usually be a good day.
