New media has brought opportunities and challenges to the college students' ideolog-ical and political education, and led to the "double effect" of their thought and behavior. Relating to the actual situation of the students ' ideological and political education in a cross-border way of thinking, the author makes use of the theory and method of relevant disciplines, trying to achieve the effectiveness of ideological and political education in the new media era.
