This paper expounds the station distribution and freight development of ganquan railway , analyzed the problem of insufficient ability because of the development of freight increasement ,introduces railway traffic organization of ganquan railway and the method of calculate interval through capacity ,and calculated the capacity of each interval .Combined with the recent freight traffic 5 million、7 million、10 million tons of three conditions ,calculated the requirement capacity of each interval ,provide specific scheme of improve the interval through capacity ,be prepared for the next step of freight increasement .
