With the 30 t translation cable crane made in Germany at Jinping Power Station as a study object,the elec-tric system is analyzed in the paper.In addition,the advancement of its transmission and control technologies is summa-rized,in order to provide reference for domestication of current cable cranes and facilitate upgrading of conventional indus-try of hoisting machinery.
