为及时、快速、客观地查清淹没区的土地利用状况，必需测量出淹没区的面积。随着遥感技术和地理信息系统的发展，两者结合并在水力部门得到了广泛应用。结合某大坝工程，通过对DEM和流体动力学模型的分析，运用ERDAS软件计算出淹没区的面积，并将该面积与不考虑流体因素所计算出的淹没区面积相比较，从而得出这两种方法的优缺点。

In order to investigate the status of the ground using of the reservoir ,we must calculate the proportion of submerged area .With the developing of the RS and GIS ,they are made good use by waterpower department .This paper analyses the DEM and hydrodynamics model ,using ERDAS IMAGE calculate the submerged area proportion of a certain project ,then compare it with the result of proportion of submerged area which not consider the hydro factor .After that ,we will know which method is the better .
