Construction project cost control is the most important element among the three main controls of construction project. It is crucial to determine a project successful or not and profitable or not. The article analyzes the current status and causes of cost control in the phase of design of the construction project in our country, points out the importance of the cost control in the phase of design, and discusses how to take effective measures to control the cost of the construction project in the design phase.
