ABSTRACT:How to overcome the Chinglish expression is a difficult point for English editors of sci-tech journals, which possesses important significance for academic journals to improve the English editing quality especially for English academic journals to enter SCI database. This paper sums up some common Chinglish phenomena in manuscripts of the journal of <Chinese Herbal Medicines>,and analyzes the features and differences of Chinese expression pattern and English expression pattern respectively from four levels of the subject,inner-sentence,inter-sentence and sentence group, and probes into the problem of how to edit and modify to overcome the similar language phenomena.
