人文、社会、自然三大学科三足鼎立，是生成现代大学三大课程系统的基础，在大学教育中人文课程的重要性不容忽视。大学课程应该是大课程观，显性教育课程与隐性教育课程相辅相成。在今日大学教育格局中，课程应课程设计应下沉到基层教学单位，突破专业的限制。文章探讨了大学人文课程应该成为享受课程，体验课程，人文课程更应该重视隐性课程所具有的育人作用。泛人文课程涵盖多个子课程分类，应根据学生的特点因材施教，给予基层教学单位更多的课程设置自主权。
