Landscape architecture in the world kept developing and changing in the new century. Unite States stil took the lead and a new generation of landscape architects grew up. France and Germany turned to fade after the briliant in the end of the 20th century. Landscape architects in Netherlands explored overseas practice. Spaln, Portugal, and Nordic countries which were obscurity became newly emerging forces of the profession and attracted widespread attention. Landscape architecture developed rapidly in China. Globalization has had a great impact on the contemporary landscape architecture. To Profit from the international experience while to malntaln local natural and cultural features, as wel as keeping innovation, might be the direction of landscape architecture in al countries.
