随着教育部门对于大学英语课程的改革不断深入，面对教育形势的改变和社会英语人才需求，传统的教学功能翻译理论已经不能完全满足现代化的社会需求。作为大学课程中非常重要的科目，大学英语翻译教学必须进行改善，因此，如何有效地提升大学学生英语翻译技能成为了大家关注的焦点。本文就功能翻译理论下，怎样进行大学英语创新，以提高学生的英语技能为目标，就我国当前大学英语翻译教学的现状和存在的问题进行分析。

With the deepening the reform of college English course of education department,in the face of the change of educa-tion situation and social English talents demand,the traditional teaching functional translation theory has not fully meet the de-mand of modern society.As a very important subject in university courses,the college English translation teaching must be im-proved,therefore,how to effectively improve college students English translation skills has become the focus of attention.In this paper,the functional translation theory shows how to make innovations to college English.In order to improve the students'English skills as the goal,is our country the current situation and existing problems of college English translation teaching are analyzed.
