A novel C3 selective hydrogenation catalyst BC - H - 30B has been applied in 2# ethylene plant of Sinopec Shanghai Petrochemical Co. , Ltd. BC - H - 30B catalyst has run for 20 months with high activity and propylene selectivity, fully meeting the commercial application requirements. During the experiment, BC - H- 30B catalyst could run steadily while the LHSV was increased by 50% to normal condition.
