Based on analyses to the site surface conditions, a belt conveyor with unloadable horizontal turning device is used to replace two sets of normal belt conveyors. This paper has put forward, from the aspects of designing, economics, and ser-vice commissioning, that the belt conveyor with unloadable horizontal turning device has the advantages of convenient com-missioning, energy saving and high efficiency, which can be a basis for the designing of belt conveyors used in similar sur-face conditions.
