To startup the No.4 blast furnace for Laiwu steel, some technologies of toasting furnace lining, burdening and charging were carefully prepared. Measures such as quickly leading into gas and quickening low silicon along with raising temperature were taken. Fulfillment output was realized in twenty-four hours and monthly output plan was achieved. The blast furnace smelting cost was reduced, compared with startup of No.3 BF, 10 million yuan was saved.
