武威市位于甘肃省中部，河西走廊东端，是历史上著名的“丝绸之路”要冲，也是“中国历史文化名城”，境内自然景观和人文景观交相辉映，文物古迹众多。本规划在此背景下，对武威市区范围内的罗什寺、古钟楼、文庙等三片区进行研究，以三大片区为核心，通过旧城改造、文化创新、现代商业引导等方式，增加历史街区活力，辐射周边地区，延续当地历史文化。并以“土城”为主题，可持续发展为原则，对古钟楼片区进行了场地设计。
무위시위우감숙성중부，하서주랑동단，시역사상저명적“사주지로”요충，야시“중국역사문화명성”，경내자연경관화인문경관교상휘영，문물고적음다。본규화재차배경하，대무위시구범위내적라십사、고종루、문묘등삼편구진행연구，이삼대편구위핵심，통과구성개조、문화창신、현대상업인도등방식，증가역사가구활력，복사주변지구，연속당지역사문화。병이“토성”위주제，가지속발전위원칙，대고종루편구진행료장지설계。
Wei city is located in thecenter of Gansu province,east of the He Xi corridor.It is on the famous"silk road"in the history and it is "the Chinese famous historical and cultural city". This area reflects natural landscapeand human landscape, and reserves many cultural relics. In this context, the Ancient Bell Tower area, the Luoshi Temple area and the Confucius Temple area have been studied.Taking these three area as the core improve historical block activities through old city reconstruction,cultural innovation and guidance of modern business, to radiate surrounding area and make possible the continuation of the local history and culture. With"Soil City" as the theme, the sustainable development as the principle, make the site designof Ancient Bell Tower area.
