孝道文化在民间的表现形式多种多样。赣西北湘赣边民众的杨孝仙信仰具有鲜明的地方文化特色。赣西北湘赣边的孝仙信仰辐射于两省、4市、6县范围，以浏阳县城为孝仙信仰的核心区域。孝仙信仰对象经历了从人鬼、到民间孝仙、到淫祀邪神、到孝子之神、到政府典祀正神、最后回归民间孝仙的不同形态与发展阶段。明清以来地方政府对民间孝仙信仰进行了或禁止或改造或毁庙或纳入正祀的种种干预，然其民间信仰本质没有变化。孝仙信仰以一定的活动形式为载体，其古今活动内容存在较大差异，如古代重视孝道，现代强调神奇疗效。赣西北孝仙信仰呈现三个方面特色：以弘扬民间的孝道精神为主题、反映高危产业区民众对平安健康的期盼、与赣西北客家分布区有一定耦合关系。

The culture of folk filial piety has a variety of forms.Worshipping Yang Xiaoxian demonstrates distinc-tive feature of local culture in border region of northwest Jiangxi Province.The religion range covers two provinces, five cities, six counties, centering Liuyang County Town.The object of worshipping Yang Xiaoxian experienced change from as ghost, as filial immortal, as biend, as god of dutiful sun, as god recongrized by govern-ment.Local Government of carried out various intervention since the Ming and Qing dyanties, such as prohibiting faith, transforming faith, removing the temple, recogrizing as legitimate temple.But the feature of folk religion doesn’ t change.In some forms of activities as the carrier, the activities of worshipping Xiaoxian varies widely from the ancient to the modern, such as emphasizing filial piety in the ancient time and now laying stress on miracle cure.The religion of worshipping Xiaoxian has three characteristics of promoting the theme of folk filial piety, re-flecting the people’ s expectation for safety and health in the high risk industry area, having some coupling relation-ship with northwest Jiangxi Hakka area.
