公立医院改革是新医改的核心环节，搞好公立医院改革，有利于更好地体现公共医疗卫生服务的公益性质，而信息化是公立医院改革的重要支撑手段。公立医院在公益性的前提下，要适应改革与发展面临的压力和挑战，就必须运用以信息技术驱动的先进管理理念和创新手段推动公立医院的可持续、健康发展。针对新形势下公立医院改革对信息化的要求，信息化对公立医院改革的支撑作用，信息化助力公立医院改革的几点思考进行了阐述。

Public hospital reform is the core step of the new medical reform. Improving the reform of public hospitals is conducive to better reflect the nonprofit nature of public health services, and information technology is an important means to support it. In order to deal with the pressure and challenges emerged in the process of reform and development, public hospitals must utilize information technology in its management philosophy and innovations, so as to facilitate the sustainable and healthy development and to keep the nonprofit nature. This paper elaborates the requirements for informatization under the new situation, the supporting role it plays for public hospital reform. It also sheds some light on how informatization can help the reform.
