提出了一种RS触发器等效模型,用于解释集成定时器555的工作原理。说明了该等效触发器模型与普通门电路构成触发器的差别,给出构成施密特触发器进而设计多谐振荡器的方法。教学实践表明使用该RS触发器模型学生更容易理解555定时器的工作原理,并更快掌握电路设计方法。

An equivalent model with RS flip-flop is proposed for explaining the operation principle of the integrated timer 555. The differences are illustrated between the equivalent model and the RS flip-flop constituted of gates. Meanwhile, the methods for constituting the Schmitt trigger and to design the multivibrator are introduced. The practice in teaching indicates that with this model the operating principle of timer 555 becomes more understandable to students and they can master the methods of circuit design better.
