图书馆延伸服务的问卷调查以全国15省、市的37所县以上公共图书馆读者作为主要对象。公共图书馆开馆时间越长越受读者欢迎，76．7％的读者利用公共图书馆年限不足3年。58．5％的读者居住地距公共图书馆在5公里以内，男性读者居住地比女性读者远。67．4％的读者在选书时一般会遇到困难，10．1％的读者曾委托图书馆代查资料。7．4％的读者使用过图书馆手机短信服务，7．2％的读者借阅过电纸书。24．9％的读者参加过图书馆举办的专家讲座，讲座主题最受欢迎的为社会热点评析。

The questionnaire survey on library extended service is targeted at the readers from 37 public li-braries above the county level in 15 provinces.The longer the open time is,the more popular the public library will become with readers.76.7 percent of the readers use library for less than 3 years.58.5 percent of the readers live within 5 kilometers away from public libraries and male readers'houses are farther than those of female readers.67.4 percent of the readers often face difficulties in library book selection.10.1 percent of the readers commissioned li-brarians to help them search reference materials.7.4 percent of the readers use library short message service.7.2 percent of the readers borrowed library electronic paper book.24.9 percent of the readers attended the expert lectures in public libraries and the most popular theme of expert lectures is social hot issues.
